Family Participation
Brookhaven offers individualized treatment and offers a wide array of multidisciplinary approaches relevant and therapeutic to each child’s individual needs. We have spent a great deal of time enhancing our Family Services in order to ensure success for our residents during their treatment and post treatment. We provide intensive family services to our residents, birth families, potential families, and respite caregivers in order to create a therapeutic environment in which they can experience the structure, stability, consistency, and safety they may not have otherwise had. One way to ensure this success is through intensive family sessions during a child’s stay; as well as assisting and supporting families in creating a therapeutic environment in their home in the best interest of their child. The Family work, coupled with daily therapeutic groups, individual therapy, milieu therapy, and an independent school that offers individualized learning based on needs has made Brookhaven a panoptic treatment facility.
